Trenton Wesley W. Roberts, 86, died on Sunday in Capital Health at Fuld. Born in Amherst County, Virginia, he had been a resident of Pennington for 52 years before moving to Trenton in 2003 He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict in Korea and was a demolition expert . He Was a master carpenter and cabinet maker and worked for Woolsey and Cadwallader in Pennington for many years and later for Anthony DiCocco, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Velta Roberts, a son , Wesley A. (Alicia)Roberts of Staunton, VA. , a Daughter Kathyann Matucheck of Lawrence, two brothers, George J.(Maggie) Roberts of Trenton and Bobby Roberts of Oregon; two sisters, Jeanette Massie and Margaret Matthews, both of Lovingston, VA; three grandchildren, Morgan Harrison, Alicia"Cassie" Roberts and Nicholas Smaltino, a great grandson, Tyler Roberts , a special nephew and niece; , Donald W. Roberts and Deborah Geehan, both of Trenton and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington at 12:00 noon followed by interment in Brigidare Gen'l Wm. C. Doyle Cemetery in Arneytown. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
