Sally Karaffa

Sally Karaffa, 94, of Naples, Florida passed away Wednesday January 11, 2023 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side, Barbara and John.

Born in Trenton, she has resided in New Jersey most of her life and spent her retirement between New Jersey, Naples, Florida and the Poconos. Sally is retired from the State of New Jersey. She was an avid bowler, bingo and card player. Sally's favorite thing in life was being a grandmother and great grandmother.

She is predeceased by her parents, Peter and Gussie (Prensky) Ungar, her siblings, Ben, Max, Izzy, Jiggs Ungar, Mary Berkowitz, Vera Bebbe, Sadie Bodanyi, Rachel Shaw and Rose Starr and her husband and the love of her life, Peter Karaffa.  She is survived by three daughters, Barbara and John Turek (with whom she resided), Adriene and Randy Olson and Naomi Cordell; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
