Ruth Tantum

Ruth Tantum (Inman) died peacefully in Langhorne, PA on November 29, 2024 at the age of 97. Formally of Ewing Township, NJ, she more recently resided in Yardley, PA.

Ruth was retired from the Ewing Township Board of Education and enjoyed many years in retirement. She enjoyed her family, her church life, her many friends, traveling and sewing with her group at church. She was also a former Deacon of the Ewing Presbyterian Church.

She was a graduate of Trenton Central High School class of 1944.

Daughter of the late Charles and Miriam (Hullfish) Inman and preceded in death by her husband Robert Tantum. She is survived by; two sons, James and wife Julia, Donald and wife Jane; her loving sister Virginia Dakin; grandchildren Megan, Robert, Michael, and Julianna; great grandchildren Benjiman, and Raymond.

A private family burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ. Memorial Contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Ewing Covenant Presbyterian Church, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing Township, NJ 08628.
