Robert C. Predhome, 93, died on Friday, May 6, 2016 in the NJ State Veterans Home, Menlo Park, NJ. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and had been a resident of Hopewell Township/Lawrenceville for most of his life.
He had a BS degree from the University of Detroit and an MS In Math from the University of Pennsylvania. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was Stationed in Germany with the CIC. Before his retirement in 1985, he was a computer analyst with Western Electric (later AT&T) in Princeton.
Mr. Predhome was an avid baseball and hockey fan and also loved to play bridge. He was also a long time member of the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville where he worked with the youth of the church.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Wilfred Sr. and Alice Canfield Predhome, and one brother, Wilfred Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Olmstead Predhome, of Lawrenceville; his daughter, Deborah J. Lasky (Robert M. Jr.) of Hamilton; his son, R. Thomas Predhome (Jocelyn Wills) of Brooklyn, NY; his brother, Jeremy Predhome of Ivyland, PA; his grandson, Noah A. Kaye (Brittany) of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 2:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Private Internment.
