Pennington. Richard Bruce Clowes, 84, passed away at his home on Saturday. He was born in Trenton and was a resident of Pennington most of his life.
He worked for Fairless Steel in Morrisville, PA as a line foreman for 33 years. After retiring he was a school bus driver for Hopewell Township.
He was a member of the National Guard for eight years, and a member of the Pennington United Methodist Church.
He was son of the late Charles and Mary Clowes, and brother of the late Charles Clowes. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Acorn Clowes, a daughter Jennifer Ash of Pennington and two sons, Richard Bruce Clowes, Jr. and his wife Catherine P. of Birdsboro, Pa and Daniel Edward Clowes of Washington Crossing, Pa., a sister, Norma Fish of Ewing and a granddaughter, Alexandra Clowes of Carbondale, Pa. and one grandchild.
Private graveside services will be held in Pennington Cemetery.
