Moira Waldron Kearney, 90, passed away on December 8, 2019 while visiting with family in Florida. A long time resident of Pennington, NJ, she was born in Trenton, NJ and was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Barbizon School of Modeling. She loved reading and spending time with family on LBI. She was witty and full of life, even in her final days and will be greatly missed.
Moira was predeceased by her parents William J. and Edith Callahan Waldron, her siblings, Bill, Joan, Paul and Jim Waldron, Sheila Garzio Sindora, Karen Giovannetti and Donna Weisbrod. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Matthew J. Kearney, Jr., her children Michael Kearney, Marybeth Blakeney (Jim), Mark Kearney (Kim), Meg Kearney Smith, and Matthew J. Kearney, lll. Her grandchildren: Matthew, William and Caitlyn Kearney, Adrian Townsend (Dixie), Ethan Townsend, Cassie Blakeney, Benjamin Kearney, Christyn Kearney Raymond (Jay), Christopher Esquilin, Kelly Esquilin, Jason Smith (Jill), Jared Smith and Aubrey Smith Hunt (Ryan), Hannah Kearney Grunewald (Jeremy, and Samuel Kearney, and nine great grandchildren. Her sister Beth Cliver (Glenn), sisters-in –law Marlene Waldron, Sally Kearney Leedy, Jean Kearney, brothers-in-law John Sindora, Robert Giovannetti and William Kearney (Joan) and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 9:00 – 10:00 AM at St. James Church 115 E. Delaware Ave, Pennington, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
