.Pennington. Marjorie Kent, 86, passed away Saturday Oct. 17, at her Pennington residence. Born in Princeton, she has resided in Lawrenceville most of her life prior to moving to Pennington 8 years ago. Mrs. Kent graduated from Princeton H.S. Class of 1948. She retired from Princeton University Press as a bookkeeper with over 45 years of service. Following a few days of retirement she returned to work for Scholars Bookshelf for 14 years. Marjorie had a fondness for animals (especially cats), enjoyed her sweets, ice skating as a child but her greatest passion was her family and working. Predeceased by her parents, Isabelle Sexton Lewis and William F. Lewis Sr. and her brother William F. Lewis Jr.. She is survived by her children, Carol Kent and friend, Joseph Zigleneski of Hamilton, Susan Landers of Delaware, Robert Kent and wife Karen of Pennington; four grandchildren, Cherri Rossman, Chad DeBruine, William and Chelsea Kent; three great-grandchildren, Shane, Rachal and Ethan and several dear friends. Visitation will be held 9:00-11:00am Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St. Pennington, NJ 08534.
