Lois A Burdette

Lois A Burdette, 94, passed away at Brandywine Assisted Living, Pennington, on Tuesday, March 20 with her family by her side. She was born in Lovewell, Kansas and resided in the Pennington area for 45 years. Lois dedicated her long life to taking care of her family. She was an avid bridge player and was very proud of her service as a volunteer at the Pennington Library. She and her late husband, Ben were members of the Pennington Methodist Church for many years.
Lois was predeceased by her loving husband of 72 years, Ben A. Burdette. She is survived by her children, James and spouse, Sue, Jeffrey and spouse, Hannelore, all of Wichita, KS, Cheryl Chester and her partner, Joe Hunchak, of East Hanover, NJ, Lori Drake and spouse, Chris of Titusville, NJ and family friend, Ed Chester of S.C. She was a loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Brandywine Assisted Living and Princeton Hospice. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Pennington Methodist Church or Titusville Presbyterian Church.
