Kathleen Armano, 71, of Cherry Hill entered into God's care Monday, Sept 19, at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly.
Kathy was born in Trenton. She is a graduate of Trenton Central High School and Lyons Institute for Digital Computer Electronics. She was a hairdresser at LaPetite Beauty Salon, Director of Biomed at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill and Manager of technical support at EP Med/St Jude Medical.
Predeceased by her parents, James and Lillian (Palmieri) Armano. She is survived by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Joseph Narkun, Donna and Lou Turdean, an uncle Frank Palmieri(Agnes), and an aunt, Helen Palmieri. Also survived by beloved cousin, Patricia Palmieri; a special friend, Dee Keys and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
All funeral services will be private.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Kathy Armano to the Thyroid Cancer Research Program at Penn Medicine, Checks made payable to "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania". and sent to Katie Dewees Detzel, Penn Medicine Development Office, 3535 Market Street Suite 750, Philadelphia PA 19104. Donations can also be made to your local animal shelter to support Kathy's passion for saving animals.
