John Thomas Alpaugh of Buckingham, PA passed away suddenly on Monday October 16th, 2023. He was 88 years old. Tom was the son of the late Belle and Raymond Alpaugh. His siblings were James (Ned), William (Bill), Jean and Barbara. Tom was the loving and devoted husband to Joan E. Alpaugh (Walker) for 65 years.
Born in Trenton NJ, he previously lived in Hamilton and Pennington NJ before moving to Buckingham, PA. Tom was a graduate of Trenton High School and served in the Army for the 7th Infantry during the German Occupancy.
Tom worked for NJM Insurance Group for more than 40 years. He coached little league for Sunny Brae in Yardville, NJ. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 50 in Mercer County and was a member of the Shriners. He loved his granddaughters deeply and they will truly miss him.
You could always find Tom at one of the local gyms or sharing dinner with Joan at Applebees. Tom was an avid walker, reader and loved to do puzzles and word searches. He spent time with his loving wife Joan who he cared for deeply. Tom is survived by his beloved son Robert Alpaugh and wife Karen(Bray) of Yardley, Pa and 2 grandchildren, Meghan/Connor Kubitsky and Marissa Alpaugh. He also had two great granddaughters, Brynn and Avery Kubitsky.
Private services will be held for immediate family and donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
