Hugh E. White Pennington - Hugh E. White, 81 passed away on November 9th, 2014. Mr. White was born in New York City and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida before settling in New Jersey. He earned degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and MIT and was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study in London. Following graduation, he was employed by RCA David Sarnoff Research Center where he contributed to the development of high definition television before his retirement. Hugh enjoyed working outdoors on his Pennington farm and had numerous interests including sailing, woodworking, beekeeping and electronics. He was a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and David Lewellen of Morgantown, WV; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Leanne White of Flemington, and son Bradley White and Kiyomi Camp of Hopewell; four grandsons Paul and Jacob Lewellen, and Samuel and Zachary White. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Gertrude White. A memorial service will be held Friday November 14th 2:30 PM at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church 80 West Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525.
