Burlington. Helen Clara Bernasco, 93, formerly of Hamilton, died in the Masonic Home in Burlington Saturday. Born in Stanton, she had spent her youth in Pennington. Helen had resided in Hamilton for over 35 years before moving to Burlington. She was a registered nurse for 41 years, 21 of those years were spent with the New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services. During World War II, she did Industrial Nursing. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter No. 96 ' the Mercer County Angler's Association, and the NJ Beach Buggy Asso. Helen's love of dance lead her to become a member of a number of dance groups, including The Woosamonsa Dance Club, International Ballroom Dancing for 18 years and Social Ballroom Dancing.for 8 years. She was also an avid cyclist. Daughter of the late George and Jennie Bernasco, and sister of the late Mildred Clawson, Leah Moon, Eugenia Wilson and Dorothy Savidge, she is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and good friends. Funeral services will be held onFriday at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N.Main St Pennington.with the Rev. Wm. McQuoid, officiating.
