Geraldine Ahern

Geraldine J. Ahern Hamilton Geraldine J. Ahern, 81, of Hamilton passed away at the home of her daughter in Hopewell on March 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Trenton and spent most of her life in Hamilton. Geri retired from the New Jersey State Police with over 25 years of service. She enjoyed vacationing, reading, trips to Atlantic City and spending time with her family. Wife of the late Willard F. Ahern and daughter of the late Theresa and John Wargo, Geri is survived by her daughter Michelle Apgar and her husband Walter of Hopewell, and three grandchildren, Lauren, Michael and Matthew Apgar, all of Hopewell. Geri is also survived by her special companion John Zara and lifelong friends Ilona and Robert Ploof and Mary Silage. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26, at 9:30 am. at St. Raphael's Church, 1733 South Broad Street, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may greet the family in the Narthex of the church from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30a.m. Interment will follow in St. Basil's Cemetery, Cedar Lane.
