Frances Mae Hunter

Frances Mae Hunter was born to Howard and Susan Hunter, Jan. 4, 1943, during the stressful period of WWII.

She was raised on the family farm and helped her father farm. She attended schools in Hopewell Twp., Helen Fuld, Mercer County Community College and Mercer Hospital nursing school, where she received her license as a practical nurse.

She worked as a medical assistant/nurse for several doctors prior to retiring. After retiring, Frances Mae cared for her parents until their passing. Frances Mae traveled to Ireland twice with her parents and once with a friend. Frances Mae moved to into Brandywine Assisted Living, Pennington, where she lived until her passing, January 9, 2023. Frances Mae has surviving relatives in the ISA, Ireland and Canada. 

Viewing will be held Tuesday, Jan 17, at 1:00PM at Blackwell Memorial Home. Burial will follow at 2:00PM in Harbourton Cemetery.
