Evelyn Hart

Evelyn Wagner Hart, 92, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on March 1, 2025.

Born in Trenton, Evelyn was the daughter of Henry and Hazel Wagner. She was a graduate of Hopewell Valley Regional Schools and the Mercer Hospital School of Nursing in Trenton. She began her nursing career in the Emergency Room of Mercer Hospital and later worked for more than 30 years with Dr. Alfred D. Christie in his practice in West Trenton. She was a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville.

Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, brother Henry Wagner, sister Joyce Kraft, brother-in-law Ken Blackwell, and sister-in-law Alice Blackwell. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William C. Hart; her daughter Diane Zalaskus and husband Greg of Flemington; her son Glenn Hart and wife Melissa of Pennington; her grandchildren Julie Zalaskus, Jeff Zalaskus, Elizabeth Herr and husband Garrett, Emily LaPlaca and husband Joseph; her great grandchildren Desiree Petonak and Elliott Herr; and her sister-in-law Judy Wagner of Lawrenceville.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington. A funeral service with Reverends Steve Nash and John Potter officiating will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville at 11:00AM on Monday, March 10, 2025. Visitation will be held Monday at 10:30AM until the time of the service at the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville, 48 River Dr, Titusville, NJ 08560.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
