Elizabeth M. Harris

Ewing. Elizabeth M. Harris, 89, died at Capital Health at Hopewell on Monday. Born in Throop, PA. she had been a resident of Ewing since 1964, prior to that she had resided in Pennington. She had moved to Pennington from Scranton in the 1950's Before her retirement in 1984 she had worked as a telephone operator for N.J. Bell Telephone, in the Pennington and Ewing offices, for many -years. She was a long time member of the Pennington United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth White Harris, she is survived by two nieces, Joyce Lawton and Nancy Hryn and several grandnieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday Evening at 8:00 p.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St., Pennington. Interment will be in Abington Hill Cemetery, South Abington, PA on Tuesday. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.on Monday at the Memorial Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S. Main St., Pennington. 08534
