Earl David Stires, Jr 100 of Pennington passed away Saturday in CHS- Hopewell.
Born in Pennington, Earl was a lifelong Pennington/Hopewell area resident. He was US Army veteran. Mr. Stires was a member of Titusville Methodist Church, Hopewell Vigilante Society, Pennington Grange #64 and Trenton Cyrus 5 F&A Masons of Pennington.
Predeceased by his parents, Earl D. and Edna (Bawlby) Stires Sr., his wife, Betty Jean (Hart) Stires, daughter, Lynn Moon, sisters, Dorothy Smith and Romona Grogan and brother, Charles Stires.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel and Kathryn Sitres, George Stires, Roy and Linda Sitres and Wayne and Sarah Pell Stires; sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and George Figel; son-in-law, Scott Davidson; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 11:30-1:00pm at Titusville Methodist Church, 7 Church Rd., Titusville, NJ, followed by at funeral service at 1:00pm and burial in Harbourton Cemetery.
