Charlotte J. Rogers, age 86, entered into God’s loving care at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Trenton, she was a life-long area resident. She graduated from Trenton Central High School and worked for many years at Metropolitan Life Insurance company. She was later employed by St. Francis Medical Center, working as a medical secretary until her retirement.
Charlotte was avid NY Mets fan. She enjoyed visiting the shore, playing bingo, going to the casino, knitting and crocheting. She was a caring person who recently handmade more than 100 hats to give to the needy. Above all, Charlotte cherished the times spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Alice (Reynolds) Timms, her husband Joseph S. Rogers, Jr. and her three sisters, Lorraine Jezewski, Audrey Slack and Marilyn Thompson.
She is survived by her son Joseph C. Rogers and wife Paula; two daughters, Nancy Qualiano and husband Thomas and JoAnn Rogers; seven grandsons: Dylan, Christopher, Kyle, Todd, Michael, Shayne and Joseph; one sister Carol Yager; many nieces and nephews and loving brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be private.
