Angela Lockett, a longtime resident of the Mountainview section of Ewing, NJ, and a graduate of Trenton High School, peacefully entered into God's care on Friday, February 2nd, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Angela, the devoted wife of John Lockett for 59 years, was a cherished mother to Kimberly Storcella and Renee Kramer. She is survived by her loving husband, John Lockett, daughters Kim Storcella, husband Richard Storcella, & Renee Kramer, and her granddaughters Falen Bocchini, Madison Storcella, Kendall Storcella, Chandler Storcella, and Angela Longo; two great-grandchildren, Bianca and Ezio Bocchini. Angela is also remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Marianne Cammarata and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Ida Cammarata, and her brothers Blacey and Gaetano Cammarata, Angela leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories. She built a life of warmth and joy with her family, creating lasting bonds that will continue to be cherished.
Angela was the proud owner of the beloved children's boutique, Petite Pleasures, located in Chamberburg, NJ, where she shared her passion for fashion with the community for many years. Her eye for style and commitment to excellence made her shop a local treasure.
An ardent lover of animals, Angela's greatest love was reserved for her dogs – Puffy, Cassie, and Colby. These loyal companions brought immeasurable joy and companionship into her life, and their presence was a source of comfort for Angela through the years.
In her leisure time, Angela found solace and joy in gardening, with geraniums being her favorite flowers. Her green thumb and the beauty she cultivated in her garden reflected her nurturing and tender nature. Angela also embraced an active lifestyle, finding joy in regular visits to the gym and maintaining her fitness, a testament to her commitment to a healthy and balanced life.
Angela's favorite pastime was exploring the vibrant cities of Manhattan (especially buying product for her store at the Javit's Center) and Philadelphia. She found immense joy in the bustling energy, cultural richness, and diverse experiences these cities had to offer.
As per Angela's wishes, she requested that Pharrell Williams' song "Happy" be played to celebrate her life. This choice encapsulates the essence of Angela – a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and wished to be remembered with smiles and laughter.
Angela Lockett's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her remarkable life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday, Feb.06, 2024, at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Pennington, NJ. All are invited.
