Gloria Louise McIntyre

Gloria Louise McIntyre died on March 24, 2022 in Morristown Hospital while recovering from cancer surgery. Gloria was born to John and Louise Miele on December 12, 1937 in Trenton, NJ and graduated from Trenton High School as Valedictorian of the Class of 1955. Gloria met Leo G. McIntyre (Jerry or Mac to his friends) at NJ Bell Telephone and they were married in 1957. Gloria and Mac (1932-1987) raised their family in Titusville, NJ, Gloria's home for 60 years, until she moved in with her Laura Suydam. Gloria worked in the Washington's Crossing State Park office for decades, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Titusville Firehouse, and volunteered at Bear Tavern School. She touched many lives and leaves a legacy of loving and caring. She is survived by her daughter Laura Suydam, son in law Frank Suydam and grandchildren Frank Suydam and his wife Marielle and Adrienne Suydam. Also by her son Timothy McIntyre, daughter in law Susan McIntyre and grandchildren Riley McIntyre and Wesley McIntyre. And fondly by her beloved sisters Dolores Potts and Ruth Miele and nephew Todd Miele. Visitation will be held Friday April 1, 2022 from 12:00-1:30pm at Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St. Pennington, NJ 08534 (www.blackwellmh.com). A service will be celebrated 1:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
